Bassema came to Brighton, for the first time to share her powerful story. As the head of a women's farming group back in Palestine, she came to tell us about the 23 families and 6000 people that benefit from selling fairtrade through Zaytoun.

Their aim to promote fair traded Palestinian produce and to reinvest profits back into supporting Palestinian livelihoods.

Edit Sweet Ltd. were honoured to be asked to film for Sunday Night At... The Theatre Royal in aid of Rockinghorse Charity that raised a whopping £4000.
In the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Cllr. Dee Simson, the High Sheriff of East Sussex, Maureen Chowen, and our CEO Ryan Heal, a total of 35 performers, dancers and musicians wowed the audience with a glitzy production put together by Rob Reaks and David Bell, for Rebell Ltd.
Rob said, “We wanted to create a performance that would showcase some top-class talent, in the wonderful setting of Theatre Royal Brighton with the best band, set, sound and lighting design possible. Judging from the feedback, I think we achieved our aim!”
The concept of Edit Sweet as a social enterprise was noted by The Platform, Brighton. As one of FIVE social enterprises in Brighton to be selected, on to the SEEK course, this first of it's kind.
Edit Sweet will be launching OFFICIALLY as a SOCIAL ENTERPRISE in the coming months.
Edit Sweet is currently supporting and working with Brighton based signed musician, ABI FLYNN. A singer/songwriter who is amidst a fight with cancer. Sharing her personal blogs, MUSIC and journey along the way, the aim is to produce a FEATURE LENGTH documentary showing this inspirational lady's journey. Supported by Cancer Reasearch, Abi's story is gaining momentum with VIRAL video posts and a fast growing fanbase. #FOLLOWABI www.abiflynn.co.uk
Annie supported and mentored media students at the University of Sussex. With 12 groups of students doing various forms of media projects, They has been working since the new year with the groups in order to produce top quality final projects whilst gaining some client experience during this time. The project reached it's final presentation date May 2017. The students have been a great bunch to work with and the future in film making is looking strong.
Annie was taken on as Kennedy Street's Creative Director for a year and This position, enabled Annie to grow and constantly learn and Annie chose to take professional direction within the film making industry. Annie's main involvement was to film for Kennedy Street, mainly inspirational talks within the community on a regular basis and other adhoc projects. There are also crowdfunding adverts and other informational pieces to create which then led on to Annie starting Edit Sweet, where her passion firmly lays.
In 2016, Annie took park in the filming and making of "Recovery Street" - This film was shown several times on Brighton's Latest TV and repeatedly on Community Channel this year. There are hopes to make more in the future from the success of "Recovery Street" which was made with thanks to DMC Media.
